Arrival is expected by 6 pm at Podere Santa Francesca, where the winery and the welcome center of Fattoria La Maliosa are located. Here you can spend the last hours of sunshine walking through the meadows, relaxing in the dedicated area and admiring the panorama of the Maremma hills from our StarsBOX “Terra”. The StarsBOX is a wooden micro-cabin with an opening roof and a comfortable tatami inside, allowing you to enjoy a unique experience at sunset and under the starry sky. From the panoramic platform, installed outside the StarsBOX, you can enjoy a spectacular view over the whole hilly Maremma, spotting even Monte Amiata on the horizon. During your stay in the StarsBOX you will have a picnic basket available for you and your partner. The picnic basket contains organic products including a bottle of our natural wine and a selection of local artisanal cured meats and cheeses. We recommend using them for a sunset toast! You can spend as much time as you wish inside the StarsBOX, which must be vacated by 10 am the following morning. Our StarsBOX has an opening roof to give you the magic of Italy’s darkest sky. We guarantee privacy, stars and unspoiled nature, and we’d like to let you know that you might be visited by a few small guests, as curious as you are, to discover the good wine🍷🐝 Remember this is a fully immersive nature experience and therefore requires a spirit of adaptation: you will not find running water or electricity, but you will have a chemical toilet with WC, not equipped with a sink or shower. Small four-legged friends are allowed in the StarsBOX. To reach Podere Santa Francesca you will travel on unpaved and bumpy roads, therefore we recommend driving carefully. In case of adverse weather conditions, we reserve the right to postpone the experience with at least 24 hours’ notice. No refunds are provided in case of cancellation without notice, but changing the name is always free. You can change the booking date up to 24 hours before the experience. Contact us, we will do our best to find a solution compatible with our availability. We also offer the possibility to turn your purchase into a voucher valid for 12 months.
